The Death Doula is a gripping cinematic limited series that explores the intimate, mysterious frontier between life and death. Created by Wayne J. Keeley and co-written with his wife and longtime creative partner Stephanie C. Lyons-Keeley, the project began as a pilot screenplay that has already earned exceptional recognition:

Blending psychological drama, dark humor, and supernatural horror, the story follows a death doula guiding souls through their final transition — while confronting his own immortality curse, a shape-shifting Wendigo, and a chilling bargain with Satan in a school parking lot. Drawing on themes of grief, karma, resilience, legacy, and what lies beyond, the series is both deeply personal and universally resonant.
